Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Passeser, of Fort Salonga, is into his 21st year as host of the News 12 Long Island show “Jobline,” in which he interviews company executives about their businesses and openings they might have. Now Passeser is giving himself a new job: consultant to Long Island companies.
